Redstor - Local Mirror

Hi All,

 

We use Redstor as one of our Backup method

I am keen to implement a Local Mirror

This gives the following options

 

On the local machine

On a network share (UNC path)*

On a removable drive

 

With Veeam we used the option for a hardened repository, which seemed more sensible.

 

How have others approached the Redstor local mirror question?

I've used the network share option onto a Synology NAS.

 

The credentials used to access the share cannot access the recycling bin (so even if all the backup shots are deleted they are recoverable) and 2FA is used for admin accounts.
