ITchallenged Posted October 30, 2024 Posted October 30, 2024 Hi, new here and just wondered what people were using for keystroke monitoring? We currently have Smoothwall Monitor in place which is coming up for renewal and the deal we are on is ending, which means the price will increase significantly which is not great timing with significant cost pressures across our schools. Schools like the product, but not sure what alternatives exist and we will need to carry out a comparison exercise to ensure we are using the best solution whilst demonstrating value for money. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks...
Wave9_Lee Posted October 30, 2024 Posted October 30, 2024 I appreciate you'll prefer community suggestions, but take a look at Lightspeed Monitor. Happy to arrange a demo or trial if needed. cheers 1
Rob_D Posted October 30, 2024 Posted October 30, 2024 In the past we've used Securus (un-managed), and Smoothwall Monitor. We're looking at Securus FMS for our next renewal, as far as I've seen, it's pretty feature comparable with Monitor. 1

It feels like Smoothwall had by far the best offering for the last 6+ years, but the competition have caught up and is some areas surpassed Smoothwall now. 1
PaddyNewman Posted October 30, 2024 Posted October 30, 2024 Again, non community, but if you have an LGfL feed, we can likely provide you with Senso! 1

In the areas of safety and moderation I'd suggest we are hard to beat. Would love to chat about what you think we can do better, big things coming in monitor land... 1
