365 Group Calendar for IT Department

I've got a question re 365 group calendars. We are looking to setup a shared calendar for us as an IT department to log bookings / requests, one issue we've found it that the 365 unified group calendars don't support notifications. How does everyone else manage bookings?

Bookings of what? Doesn't your ticketing solution support a calendar/scheduling function?

We receive IT bookings for projector setups, recordings, photography. Those kind of things. No unfortunately our helpdesk doesn't have that feature

Have you looked at Microsoft Bookings? Its basically a front end to a shared mailbox but works well in use cases it supports

Yes the lack of notifications on a group calendar is super annoying. We just invite the Team when creating events; so it goes into everyones personal calendar (assuming they accept of course)
