YouTube approved videos and Smoothwall content restriction issue

We have a strange issue where some staff members are not seeing the ability to approve videos and are instead being forced into restricted mode. I have set a ignore setting for staff on content modifications YouTube etc but it has had no impact.

 

Does anyone know how the Google workspace setting (Classroom teachers can approve videos) works with Smoothwall content restrictions? Is it recommended to use both?

 

We have Smoothwall currently on Leeds 70 if that helps.

I would only use one if at all. The content filtering works fine on Youtube provided https inspection or you are using the cloud filter so inappropriate content will be detected by the Smoothwall filter. Conversely, using the moderate or strict policies for youtube use Youtubes own policies, which you cannot control.
