IIRC, you can't do bulk account creation and management using the free version (as you might expect).

Not sure if there's a process available if you're paying for a business license.

There is with their enterprise product. I’ve integrated Zoom with both Okta and EntraID, and it can do SSO and provisioning either way. And it will support provisioning accounts into the free licence tier within your enterprise instance, so for example all our staff have the free tier except for those we uplift to the higher paid licence tiers.

I have a vague memory of a csv import for accounts but I can’t remember if that really exists or what it looks like.

I created an account the other day, fully prepared to pay for a Pro license, just so we could create and assign 1 license to 1 teacher.

Was informed by support back in June that you had to have at least 2 Pro licenses to have an admin portal and be able to create and assign users licenses.

Created the account and found that not only did the primary account not need a Pro license and be on the basic plan, I could create users also just on the basic plan.

Just ticked the box that asked if we were an educational institution. Not sure if that made a difference...

I'm sure there's also a csv upload feature.

Thanks this is helpful. Have you then downloaded the app on all teacher's devices?

We set up a Zoom account for our teachers through the school admin. It was pretty straightforward. First, we got a Zoom for Education license. Then, we registered all the teachers' emails under our school domain. This way, everyone could easily access their accounts. We also had a quick training session to show them how to use the features. If you're looking for tips on managing meetings or any specific tools, feel free to ask!

Honestly not checked. The teacher in question activated their account and said it all worked, haven't heard from them since [emoji4]

Hey! At my school, we created Zoom accounts for all the teachers using a single admin account. It was super easy; we just set up individual accounts for everyone under that main account, which helped keep everything organized. It definitely made scheduling meetings and classes way simpler. I just made sure to share tips on using it with everyone, since not everyone was super familiar with Zoom at first.
