Redstor

We are looking to purchase Redstore for one of my primary schools. But we have windows clustrer setup / Clustered storage.

 

I read on their website that this is not supported with Redstor. Does anyone have clustered storage and use Redstor? Does it affect the RTO times?

I have a site recently inherited a secondary and redstor is installed on all server backing up the guest VMfiles (clustered hyper v which would confirm what you read). Personally I don’t like the setup as it unmanageable. It is not protecting bare metal and each server has a pool of storage which seems wasteful rather than have a pool of storage for the whole network.

 

I am looking to move them away for my preferred solution veeam
