Hello,

 

Quick one - How do you manage your Office 365 Ent updates on AD Domain computers?

 

We have noticed a few computers have different versions for Office 365 installed and cant spot any where in GP to manage these.

there was group policy for office updates , maybe it is just to allow updates but i remember there was version control as well!

I had been using MECM (SCCM) to managed M365 (Office) updates for many years, but have recently been testing WufB with Intune with a pilot ring (for Windows Updates also). It seems to work surprisingly well and pretty much a set and forget type of thing and my plan is to migrate everything over to Intune and stop the MECM deployments. The only thing I need to figure out is Windows Server updates, but I haven't looked at that yet.

I am using the winget upgrade --all command to update office 365 and update for any other software as well

config.office.com turn on cloud updates and never look back.
