Is it me or this thing utter rubbish?

 

Just been in to Entra and it says all licenses are processed in M365 now. Click on the link and I can see My products but I can see how to look at the services. In Entra I disabled some services on the pupils accounts 20/25 in Office 365 A1 Plus for faculty but clickin in M365 it doesn't give me any option to look at the services I can see.. if it is its not obvious.

 

My Entra ID P1 has expired too which will be fun.

What are you trying to do? Assign a subset of a licence to a group? M365 Admin>Billing>Licences>click a licence, Groups, select a group, a new option appears "Manage apps & services"

In defence of a growing dislike of change. Change gets exhausting when its forced on you at a rate such that taking a week's leave puts you onto the back foot. Change is exhausting when it is forced on to you and makes things worse for the people you are supporting. Change is exhausting when too many new things happen at the same time and suddenly you are putting out seven fires across four business-critical systems, and your own project, and as a result your standing within the organisation suffers because of it.

 

Leadership here got fed up with it and took away much of the day-to-day responsibilities from the IT service because of it (it was perceived as our failures), three years later all those middle managers who now own those systems are tearing their hair out trying to juggle their T+L, the start of term, and all the systems changes. An appreciation of how hard it is has begun to permeate, and yet I don't feel schadenfreude, just sadness.

Thanks, that's the bit I was looking for.

 

Shouldn't have said hate change.. just hard sometimes when you log in and stuff has moved.
