My son and I both have an a3 education licenses including Minecraft and was looking to join his computer and my laptop in a game but when I enter his join code or him with my join code I repeat get cannot connect. He not old enough to join public servers but wanted to give him the experience of playing a multiplayer in a safe environment for his age (8yo)

Iv disable firewalls.

Any suggestions? The only thing I thought of that mine and his a3 licenses are from different tenants and could that be the reason why?

Other info that may help is my isp is with sky and the parent shield is disabled

His pc is windows 10

My laptop is windows 11

Both Minecraft’s versions are the same 1.21.05

Any help appreciated.

FYIi was doing some more googling and did come across an article that suggested you couldn’t play with players from another tenant (makes sense really)

Tested him on another account in the same tenancy as mine and straight in.

Thanks
