Bankesy Posted September 4, 2024 Posted September 4, 2024 Good morning, Has anybody seen this error before please? I updated ADK and Win PE as I was testing with Windows 11 but now the task sequence has stopped working with Win 10. Only thing I can think of is that the task sequence does install the operating system from a reference image which is 21H2 so maybe the updates I made and the version don't align? Thanks

ThanksI knew I remembered seeing it somewhere. I had this exact issue and people on this very site helped me fix it: https://www.edugeek.net/showthread.php?t=229694 1
Olliedawg Posted September 4, 2024 Posted September 4, 2024 Is the machine you are imaging new, or used? Try diskpart /clean on the drive, then try run MDT
Bankesy Posted September 4, 2024 Author Posted September 4, 2024 Thanks @jmak I will have a look @Olliedawg it's used
Bankesy Posted September 5, 2024 Author Posted September 5, 2024 @jmak the thing about entering the script into the task sequence has fixed it and now that I think about it I seem to recall this being a thing years back just as I was leaving my last place 1
jmak Posted September 5, 2024 Posted September 5, 2024 My IT superpower is remembering my failures and finding the post on Edugeek where someone helped me fix it. [emoji4]
