As the Infrastructure Manager, you will administer, maintain and develop the ICT infrastructure for the WEA. The Infrastructure Manager, is responsible for delivering a reliable and scalable cloud infrastructure, whilst working closely with suppliers and outsourced service providers. Managing risk, opportunity and ensuring continuity of WEA`s operational activity.

Reporting to the Head of IT you will also be responsible for the maintenance, security and operational reliability of physical and virtual networks at WEA sites, as well as End User Compute equipment, including laptops, printers, telephones and mobile devices.

As the Infrastructure Manager, you will administer, maintain and develop the ICT infrastructure for the WEA. Key Areas of Responsibility

Our key deliverables and performance measures for this role are:1.Manage all Azure cloud architecture, Azure solutions and Azure IaaS/PaaS service offerings.2.Manage all on-premises and hybrid architecture and solutions.3.Accountable for pro-actively monitoring infrastructure and core service, along with associated costs.4.Provide stable and robust infrastructure for internally hosted business systems.5.Take ownership of systems and third-party solutions where designated.6.Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in-place, monitored and routinely tested.7.Identify security and operational risks, reporting and recommending changes as appropriate.8.Develop and grow the end user desktop experience via deployed applications and Intune device management. 9.Assist in maintaining the organisation's Cyber Essentials Plus certification annually.10.Investigating and identifying opportunities to reduce operational costs whilst maintaining consistent levels of service.11.Configuring services to bolster data protection and sharing best practice.12.Responsible for ensuring technical documentation on current infrastructure and processes are kept up to date.

About You

The experience, skills and qualifications needed for this role are: 1. Educated to degree level or equivalent experience2. 3+ years managing IT Infrastructure3. Microsoft & Azure Certification or equivalent experience4. AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-3055. ITIL Foundation v46. Implementing, maintaining and trouble-shooting IT networks, server infrastructure, Azure cloud services, Microsoft Windows Server and O365 in an enterprise environment7. Managing a virtualised server environment in Azure8. Managing a backup solution in an enterprise environment9. Managing ICT infrastructure implementation and change projects10. Managing information security, including business continuity and cyber security11. Working with non-technical users to develop and implement solutions that deliver improved operational effectiveness12.
