Good morning,

I'm wondering how others go about collecting proof of Year 12 results from external applicants?

Our Sixth Form Admissions Officer is trying to allow those applicants to upload an image of their certificates but I gather this is not possible via Microsoft Forms\Power Automate.

Thanks

You can add a question with an upload photo option, but don't think you can make it do a "photo in form" as such

Edit - Looks like they changed that and only allow internal users for that now!

Alternatively, could they not email it in etc if it's not being confirmed via their old school?

Ours typically turn up on results day with the candidate results printout in hand.

However, the majority of our external intake is from our other school (~10 mins walk away).

I found the same thing about external uploads on Forms.

I'm not sure why the results have to come from the candidates and not their school, maybe there's no obligation for schools to share this info or maybe we need something like Applicaa in the middle.

Typically because admin staff are only in for 1-3 days during the results period, during which they're concentrating on helping their students rather than responding to queries from St Blodwins over whether Fred got a 9 in Maths.

So realistically you won't be able to verify credentials from the school until September.
