Adobe Animate 2023/24

Hi there

 

I've got a problem with Adobe animate, when the program it creates a folder in the home drive called Adobe which contains all the assets etc.

 

However when you look at the assets which the software they don't show until you hover over them. If you drag then to the page they show and work.

 

I've found from the logs that it uses the mapping for "Documents" not the home folder mapping within a user. The "Documents is set to the same path and permission seem fine as it can create folder and files in the first place. If i change the "Documents" to local drive letter it works fine or if i change it to the drive letter of the mapped home drive that also works.

 

 

 

Any ideas ?

 

Otherwise what problems might it cause if i set "Documents" to point to the drive letter rather than the full path

Have you checked if there are any specific permissions or access settings affecting how Adobe Animate interacts with the "Documents" folder on your system?

The permission are set the same on the path “Documents” as they are on drive letter.

 

As I said it can create the folders and files fine however it then doesn’t load them.
