Transition

Hi Guys, we are a secondary school and the transition week for the primary schools is soon. How\what does everyone do for Transition user accounts, the pupils will need internet access. Do I create a new OU with transition accounts and a GPO locking it down to internet only, or full pupil access- email?

Are they already in your MIS?

We don't give our transition students any IT-based lessons until they arrive; they do a variety of subjects on transition day but not IT.

Hi Mavhc. No they're not but I have created a guest account with just internet access and then delete them after transition week. Thank you.

Apparently we do, who knew? As above, simple guest accounts. It seems a chew on for a week. Thank you.

Yeah, my rule would be: if they want their real accounts early, get someone to put them in MIS and sync as normal, otherwise everyone uses a specific account
