Renfield-64 Posted May 7, 2024 Posted May 7, 2024 We use Google Calendar across the school, there are quite a few calendars that are shared. Some of these are calendars for laptop trolleys to be booked out. Any teacher can book a trolley out by adding an appointment/event to the relevant calendar. The only problem is that sometimes another member of staff books the same trolley for the same time period without checking first. I can't see an option to prevent booking a timeslot that is already booked. Does anyone know how to do this? I am happy to use a different calendar type system instead of Google if it makes this possible. Thanks

Thanks Use the resource/room booking system - Takes a little bit of work to setup, but that manages the availability stuff and is built into google calendar so its not another system to mess with. https://apps.google.com/supportwidget/articlehome?hl=en&article_url=https%3A%2F%2Fsupport.google.com%2Fa%2Fanswer%2F1686462%3Fhl%3Den&assistant_id=generic-unu&product_context=1686462&product_name=UnuFlow&trigger_context=a Edited May 7, 2024 by DGardiner
