discoveranother Posted May 2, 2024 Posted May 2, 2024 Hi all, Does anyone else have issues when it comes to speaking to someone at Microsoft, even when logging support calls via their M365, all calls get marked as category C, expect a response within 8 days. Thanks all
DarkMaster Posted May 2, 2024 Posted May 2, 2024 And then you get and American advisor so you only have 2 hours a day for a quick email exchange so it takes five times longer to fix anything.
ZeroHour Posted May 2, 2024 Posted May 2, 2024 Its really weird, the last time I had a support issue i got a call back in an hour but that would have probably been a year and a half ago although it was to do with removing licenses.
ThatBoringBloke Posted May 2, 2024 Posted May 2, 2024 I gave up on my support call when trying to deal with them. the contact was so few and far between I spent most of my time explaining the same issue over and over despite it already being logged and having supposedly been escalated. I found it easy enough to speak to them, just not to get the result I wanted. They have a script and they stick to it.
robintech Posted May 2, 2024 Posted May 2, 2024 Always been really good for me, only delayed after being escalated and then might be a day or so. I always opt for Email and rebuff any telephone contact options so not sure if that alters it.
MartinT Posted May 2, 2024 Posted May 2, 2024 We go through our 365 reseller, Phoenix, who can escalate an issue to Microsoft on our behalf. It works and I have often had a Microsoft person come back to me. Of course, sometimes they have little knowledge and are unable to help anyway.
Millgate_Jon Posted May 2, 2024 Posted May 2, 2024 All our 365 clients get level 1 and 2 support included as well as access to our Microsoft specialist team- sometimes it's nice just to be able to pick up the phone and speak to a person to talk though your issues and questions. Microsoft can be so confusing.
PotNoodleTech Posted May 3, 2024 Posted May 3, 2024 There's no one to speak to Microsoft is just an AI Cortana took over quite a while ago...
Norphy Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 If it’s any consolation, I work for a Fortune 100 company and the support that we’re getting from Microsoft has been pretty dire as well.
Roberto Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 Same. It’s either unbelievably bad or unbelievably good. No in between at all. I’ve had one call where I ended up speaking to the dev team for the feature I was having trouble with, and another where I might as well have been speaking to Cletus the slack-jawed yokel.
kevin_lane Posted May 5, 2024 Posted May 5, 2024 If I want support I just tend to go through my admin portal on office and usually within 12 hours I get a email or remote support - or are you wanting server / application support as I think you have buy through your reseller
