We are toying with the idea of having biometric locks for our doors and would like to know if BioStore and Paxton are able to talk to each other.

Is there anyone out there who has this paired up?

I don't think they can directly, but lookup IEVO. It integrates with Paxton and they do work with Biostore. In essence it would be like adding a middleman to make the 2 of them work with eachother. We never got round to installing it at my school but was discussed a year or so back.

The paxton installers mentioned IEVO today and i kinda said we have biostore. If IEVO can work as a a middleman - happy days.

We use iEvo and paxton and it is good we use idstore crb cumminghams for canteen biometrics so we end up taking two sets of prints on y7 induction day :-s

Whilst the biometrics is ok part of me wished we just issued them paxton cards as they are slow and even i have a "good" print sometimes it takes 4 or 5 attempts to get in.

we had to upgrade to use iSync from ievo as the basic biometrics stopped working (taking prints) in a recent paxton update it worked on the server but not on a client - no good when the server is a VM. there is a thread about this on here somewhere.
