HP EliteBook 820 Rear Cover Security Screw.

Hi,

 

I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me what screw i needed to get so i can seure the back panel of my HP EliteBook 820 G2.

I work in a school and just having the sliding lock isnt enough to stop students from opening them up and stealing parts.

Just an M4 if memory serves me, same as the screws that hold the hard drives/SSD in. If you have 4 screws in the SSD, steal one of those

I have just nicked one from the HDD and that does seem to have done the trick, thank you very much. Youve just saved us a lot of missing RAM!!!

On older models, I've seen the screw needed for that screwed in on the underside of the access panel.
