... in direct contrast to their usual rubbish about how teachers work all holiday long and never get a break ...

Not sure how much of an incentive the holidays actually are for people looking to enter into teaching....you either want to do the job or you don't.

 

Adverts featuring shockingly well behaved pupils and the holidays can't be convincing people, no-one is that gullible surely.

 

The job security on the other hand could well be a pull. There's no 'seemingly'

about it....teaching as a profession is safe as houses, even if you do end up having a nervous breakdown and going on long-term sick - ya still getting paid, and keeping the bank at bay. which cannot be said for everyone outside of teaching.

 

Plus there's that boon of being a key worker....you get the opportunity to buy half-a-house for the same amount it would have cost you to own all of it 4 years ago..... Where do i sign!!!!!
