Printing missing strip

Hi all,

 

I have a HP Colour LaserJet M652 which has developed a strange printing issue.

On mono print outs its missing a strip of printing on the same area of the page on every print.

This seems to be affecting black only. I have tried performing a clean and calibration on the printer which hasn't made a deffierence.

Does anyone know what could be causing this and how to resolve this?

Have you tried changing the black cartridge?

Assuming you checked for errant bits of paper

Changing the cartridge fixed it! Thought it it would be something more complex/expensive to fix phew, cartridge returned to supplier.
