Xerox Versink C400 DN Control panel freeze

My printer is almost 4 years old so out of warranty. It rarely does any printing as just home use (lock down purchase!!).

I’ve followed all Xerox guidance to no avail but I can’t give up 😂😂

When I turn machine on it makes booting noise and the screen displays the logo and that’s it!

I can get into a boot screen and put code 6789# but then I’m stuck.

Any ideas?💡

If you can get that can you perform a full alt boot reload of the firmware on HDD to the latest version available from Xerox?

 

Found the following video of someone carrying out the procedure on a similar Versalink device:
