damien.deakes Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 What i want to do is broadcast to our VLE a live view of what im seeing on a certain PC... some teachers will use the pc for powerpoints others for video... word documents and such. But i would like to show it (broadcast) live to students who have logged into our vle anywhere on the school site. Any ideas? Free would be awesome... cheap would be just as good.
dhicks Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 What i want to do is broadcast to our VLE a live view of what im seeing on a certain PC One of the VNC client viewers (can't remember which one) has a Java applet version - you could embed that into a web page, point it at your VNC server? -- David Hicks
linkazoid Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 (edited) UltraVNC allows you to connect as a Java Window "hxxp://pcname:5800" will do the trick. Michael Edited July 24, 2008 by linkazoid spelling and link
SteveBentley Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 Windows Media Encoder will let you stream the PC output - if the latency that streamed video has would be acceptable.
