I've got an AOC 24" G2490 144hz monitor - manufactured 2022 and it's started to develop a fault

When the monitor is running at 50Hz, sometimes the picture is spot on but other times it has horizonal banding every 5 to 6 pixels.

When the monitor is running at 60hz to 75hz the banding doesn't go away.

When the monitor is running at more than 75hz, the attached picture is what i get.

I've tried what i can with it, would you say it this is a warranty claim?

Have you tried different cables and a new GPU, just to make sure it is the monitor?

If that is all good, then I'd be ringing them to get it swapped out.

Aye, different cables (both HDMI and DP) and tried connected to my laptops and PC - all doing the same thing.

Ive put in a request to AOC so let's see how good they are!

Sounds like a reasonable case for a warranty claim then :)

I had this exact monitor. After a year it developed a purple line horizontally across the display, which remained there all of the time no matter which refresh setting was used, or display cable. Contacted AOC & after a few back and forth emails they ended up sending another out.
