Sysprep & Installing Software / Services Issue AFter Restore

Inherited a site using MDT for imaging of machines. they use a 1909 image and then update it, so i built a new 22H2 image and also a windows 11 image and then ran sysprep.

When the image is restored to machines, we can install AV, software etc, without any issues. however when we run any installer for Impero, they get the error:

Service failed to start, verify you have sufficient privileges to start system services.

However we can stop/start services, install other software etc, so not sure why we get this error only on the impero installed?

Can anyone help?

if clean install 22h2 on windows 10 or 11, the impero installer works, however when the image is captured and restored to machines, only the impero installer doesnt work, but all other software does.

Not sure what version of Impero you're on, but I know we had a similar issue and it was update KB5011048 that was causing the issue. Removing that allowed the service to restart and installs to complete. We are out of Impero support so running an older version.
