Entra P1 licence not showing in office 365 assigned area AAAHHH!!!

Morning, Not sure if anyone can help. I have been told by my schools trust i have to purchase the entra P1 licence so i can setup This ids for the MFA Bypass:. I purchased the licence for one user from our microsoft reseller and it was added to the schools OVs agreement. In office 365 admin if i go to the schools licence summary it shows as being there. But no where does it show so that i can assign it to a user account. I am totally stuck on what to do. Every one i ask just say to assign it to the user account you want but its not there. I hate licensing as so confusing!!! any idea???? thanks

HI if you go into users and open a user there is a licensing tab, it should just be a tick box?

 

Is it now showing in the license tab for users?

We assign our P1 license to a specific account: M365 Admin Center > Users > Active Users > User you wish to assign the license to > Licenses and apps: Check "Azure Active Directory Premium P1" > Save Changes

hi no it doesn't which is odd .

I'd check with your reseller if you have multiple tenants maybe something odd there, not sure really

Do you have to accept something from the supplier so they can add to the tenant?

 

I know we have to but that is for CSP rather than OVS
