One of the ones Disney dropped, now picked up by Roku. Who knows who has the UK rights. I read the first lot of books and saw the movie some time ago. Apart from the stone, this doesn't look very familiar.

Yeah looks very different.

 

Doesn't really appeal to me to be honest. I loved the 2008 movie though when I was younger.

 

Personally I don't see why everything needs a remake or a series.

 

Who knows though could turn out decent.
