[FSRM] Quota needs to exclude subdirectory

I'm busy working with quotas on our fileservers and can't seem to find an answer to this:-

 

* We set a quota on the users home folder (mapped to a drive letter)

* All folders are redirected into this home folder including App Data

* I want to specifically exclude the contents of the App Data folder from the quota applied to the home folder

 

 

Is there any way of excluding a specific subfolder from being counted?

Probably not the answer you are looking for, but probably worth considering moving redirected AppData to another share. That's what I've done for our users, using a combination of Powershell and Robocopy to move existing folders. It makes it easier to set realistic quotas, and will also help with our future migration of home folders to OneDrive.
