Koldov Posted February 7, 2024 Posted February 7, 2024 Can someone please remind me how to get this working... I knew it once but forgot... Domain Admin can't access sections of the Settings app? Ah, it's OK I found the workaround again: This issue can be bypassed (not fixed) by editing Security Policy: run secpol.msc Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Local Policies > Security Options enable User Account Control: Admin Approval Mode for the Built-in Administrator account You will not get the same error anymore. But now elevation prompts are displaying. Any issues with this?
mavhc Posted February 7, 2024 Posted February 7, 2024 Run group policy results, save the result as html, load into browser, ctrl-f for "settings", find the policy causing it
