SIMS exporting reports to Excel

I have a problem when exporting reports from SIMS to Excel. If I preview the report it is bring up the results I am expecting but when I run the report Excel opens with the results of a previously run report.

I used to have a fix (to do with One Drive settings) but due to a change in One Drive settings this no longer works.

 

I would be most grateful if anyone can offer any suggestions.

Sounds like Excel might be giving you an autorecover file from a previous report.

 

File > Options > Save. Find the path of the AutoRecover folder, go to the folder and delete stuff (possibly all the contents, but maybe Google that first) then try your SIMS export again.

Thank you, I have tried that and deleted the contents of that folder - unfortunately I'm still getting the unwanted report. I do appreciate your suggestions though!
