There are several methods for backing up Azure VMs :

- Azure File Sync :it is a file sync and replication service that can be used to back up Azure Files to on-premises or other cloud storage locations. This can be a useful option for organizations that have regulatory requirements or compliance needs that require them to store backups off-premises.

-In addition to Azure File Sync, there are several third-party backup solutions that can be used to back up Azure VMs like ShareGate ,Gs Richcopy 360 ,Metalogix and AvePoint. These solutions typically offer a wider range of features and customization options than Azure Backup, but they may also be more expensive.
