[iPad] Request: adding OLD (iOS 10) iPads to Apple School Manager

Hi,

 

We're trying to add old iPad 4th-gen (iOS 10.3.3) to Apple School Manager.

 

Apple website says ASM supports iOS 7, but I can't find a way of manually adding the device to ASM.

 

Apple support advised the device must be running iPadOS 13.1+ to be added to ASM, but it clearly shows on the website support for iOS 7+

 

The latest version of Apple Configurator gets stuck in a loop when trying to add the device to ASM ("the device must be updated" -> "the device doesn't support the latest update"). I'm unable to acquire an old version of Apple Configurator, which I suspect may help(?)

 

Any advice would be appreciated! (other than the obvious! 10+ year old iPads should be recycled, I agree!)

They can not be added, too old as they must be using iOS11 or higher, ASM support is refering to existing iPads added to ASM via Apple ADE program.
