liverpoolit Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 Hi, We're trying to add old iPad 4th-gen (iOS 10.3.3) to Apple School Manager. Apple website says ASM supports iOS 7, but I can't find a way of manually adding the device to ASM. Apple support advised the device must be running iPadOS 13.1+ to be added to ASM, but it clearly shows on the website support for iOS 7+ The latest version of Apple Configurator gets stuck in a loop when trying to add the device to ASM ("the device must be updated" -> "the device doesn't support the latest update"). I'm unable to acquire an old version of Apple Configurator, which I suspect may help(?) Any advice would be appreciated! (other than the obvious! 10+ year old iPads should be recycled, I agree!) Thanks
Brimstone Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 They can not be added, too old as they must be using iOS11 or higher, ASM support is refering to existing iPads added to ASM via Apple ADE program. 2
