File Replication error on W2k servers

I have a file replication errror: 13559 which on further investigation i found this site Event ID 13552 and 13559 on DFS Replica Members or Domain Controllers That Are Hosting a SYSVOL Replica Set which mentions that this occurs due to a change a recent hotfix made. The article gives you a couple of methods to try. I've completed method 1 but don't think this was the issue anyway as i have plenty of free space on all volumes. I don't fancy moving the File Replication Service Staging Folder as again i don't have an issue with space so shouldn't need to, which leaves method 3....but this sounds like a last resort.

 

Has anyone else had this issue and if so how did you fix it?
