Orisec (intruder alarms) Remote Access - anyone have experience of it?

Our installer has (not unreasonably) asked whether they can have remote access to check / reset the intruder alarm at one of our sites.

 

The solution they're using for remote access elsewhere is Orisec (https://www.orisec.co.uk) and it's all a bit light on detail, which is making my "it's physical security, of course the IT side will be awful" radar ping.

 

Obviously we'll split it off from the rest of the network, but has anyone had this pass over their desk?
