Hi All,

I've been asked by our FD to get some input on recommendations for document management / paperless systems in Schools.

The initial requirement will be for finance (paperless handling of invoices etc) but likely to expand into other areas.

Would be interested to hear what other Schools are doing on that front, and how they find it.

Also - are there any good Facebook groups / online forums etc for Schools finance that I could point him in the direction of?

Thanks :)

Finance, we use Access Dimension and a web portal from Hoge100, so all invoices are saved from email or scanned then approved electronically. Purchase orders are paperless too.

Across other departments, I'd go SharePoint/Google for general documents and sharing, and either that or your MIS for student-specific documents such as EHCPs.

Finance, just moved from Sage for Education to Sage Intacct.

Just started the process of web based raising and approval of orders with Intacct.

Larger gov dept, But we use OpenText as our eRDMS, Handles retention rules etc across physical records, electronic documents, approval workflows on electronic documents etc etc but may be a bit of a beast if its just a smaller school.
