CyBeRkId2002 Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 Hi. Can't vouch for how up to date these are, nor whether they are the ones we settled on (found in my admin area as I can't download the file from intune) but I think they should give a good starting point - remove any you want to keep and whatever you do test, test, TEST before rolling out to production: Computer Context Powershell: Get-appxprovisionedpackage -online | where-object {$_.packagename -like "*Microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps*"} | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -online Get-appxprovisionedpackage -online | where-object {$_.displayname -like "*MSTeams*"} | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -online Get-appxprovisionedpackage -online | where-object {$_.packagename -like "*Microsoft.GetHelp*"} | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -online Get-appxprovisionedpackage -online | where-object {$_.packagename -like "*Microsoft.GetStarted*"} | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -online Get-appxprovisionedpackage -online | where-object {$_.packagename -like "*xbox*"} | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -online Get-appxprovisionedpackage -online | where-object {$_.packagename -like "*feedback*"} | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -online Get-appxprovisionedpackage -online | where-object {$_.packagename -like "*phone*"} | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -online Get-appxprovisionedpackage -online | where-object {$_.packagename -like "*gamingapp*"} | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -online Get-appxprovisionedpackage -online | where-object {$_.packagename -like "*solitaire*"} | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -online Get-appxprovisionedpackage -online | where-object {$_.packagename -like "*BingNews*"} | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -online Get-appxprovisionedpackage -online | where-object {$_.packagename -like "*MicrosoftTeams*"} | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -online Get-appxprovisionedpackage -online | where-object {$_.packagename -like "*Zune*"} | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -online Get-appxprovisionedpackage -online | where-object {$_.packagename -like "*Terminal*"} | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -online Get-appxprovisionedpackage -online | where-object {$_.packagename -like "*Alarms*"} | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -online Get-appxprovisionedpackage -online | where-object {$_.packagename -like "*Todos*"} | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -online Get-appxprovisionedpackage -online | where-object {$_.packagename -like "*HPAudioCenter*"} | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -online Get-appxprovisionedpackage -online | where-object {$_.packagename -like "*appup.intel*"} | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -online Get-appxprovisionedpackage -online | where-object {$_.packagename -like "*Microsoft.549981C3F5F10*"} | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -online User Context Powershell: Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps | Remove-AppxPackage Get-AppxPackage | where-object {$_.packagefullname -like "*Teams*"} | Remove-AppxPackage Get-AppxPackage | where-object {$_.packagefullname -like "*GetHelp*"} | Remove-AppxPackage Get-AppxPackage | where-object {$_.packagefullname -like "*GetStarted*"} | Remove-AppxPackage Get-AppxPackage | where-object {$_.packagefullname -like "*xbox.tcui*"} | Remove-AppxPackage Get-AppxPackage | where-object {$_.packagefullname -like "*xboxGameOverlay*"} | Remove-AppxPackage Get-AppxPackage | where-object {$_.packagefullname -like "*xboxGamingOverlay*"} | Remove-AppxPackage Get-AppxPackage | where-object {$_.packagefullname -like "*XboxIdentityProvider*"} | Remove-AppxPackage Get-AppxPackage | where-object {$_.packagefullname -like "*Microsoft.XboxSpeechToTextOverlay*"} | Remove-AppxPackage Get-AppxPackage | where-object {$_.packagefullname -like "*feedback*"} | Remove-AppxPackage Get-AppxPackage | where-object {$_.packagefullname -like "*phone*"} | Remove-AppxPackage Get-AppxPackage | where-object {$_.packagefullname -like "*solitaire*"} | Remove-AppxPackage Get-AppxPackage | where-object {$_.packagefullname -like "*windowsalarms*"} | Remove-AppxPackage Get-AppxPackage | where-object {$_.packagefullname -like "*Zune*"} | Remove-AppxPackage Get-AppxPackage | where-object {$_.packagefullname -like "*Todos*"} | Remove-AppxPackage Get-AppxPackage | where-object {$_.packagefullname -like "*HPAudioCenter*"} | Remove-AppxPackage Get-AppxPackage | where-object {$_.packagefullname -like "*appup.intel*"} | Remove-AppxPackage Get-AppxPackage | where-object {$_.packagefullname -like "*terminal*"} | Remove-AppxPackage Get-AppxPackage | where-object {$_.packagefullname -like "*549981C3F5F10*"} | Remove-AppxPackage
snagrat Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 Can’t you just add them as an Store App, then tell it to Uninstall rather than Install
Roberto Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 (edited) Can’t you just add them as an Store App, then tell it to Uninstall rather than Install Yes. I’ve been really pleased with this approach. Much easier to manage whenever anything changes than the script method. Edited September 14, 2023 by Roberto
cheekycharly Posted September 15, 2023 Author Posted September 15, 2023 Can’t you just add them as an Store App, then tell it to Uninstall rather than Install I have had a look at this method and I can apply it that way for Xbox Game Bar it appears but I cannot find the other two apps, * Xbox *Solitare & Casual Games
cheekycharly Posted September 15, 2023 Author Posted September 15, 2023 (edited) Ok managed to find Xbox using its ID number but cannot find a way to get rid of the damn *Solitare & Casual Games Solitaire & Casual Games Microsoft.MicrosoftSolitaireCollection_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App Edited September 15, 2023 by cheekycharly
edubri Posted April 3, 2025 Posted April 3, 2025 Hi all, I'm looking for a way to remove the Solitaire & Casual Games Microsoft as well as Xbox as well as Copilot on student profiles and not getting much joy, has anyone had any joy in removing these in Intune? Many thanks Brian
cheekycharly Posted April 3, 2025 Author Posted April 3, 2025 In the end I removed the "Games" from the Windows image so that when I install the OS on the laptop it doesn't have it at all. As for Co-Pilot I let an Intune configuration remove that... TurnOffWindowsCopilot Disable Copilot on Windows Devices ./User/Vendor/MSFT/Policy/Config/WindowsAI/TurnOffWindowsCopilot Integer

cheekycharly Posted April 4, 2025 Author Posted April 4, 2025 Yes this is a Microsoft store app so you simply go to Apps>Create>Microsoft Store App (new) then find the Microsoft 365 CoPilot then at the end on the assignments bit do the bottom option "Remove" and apply it to which ever users or computers you want it gone from. 1
