SIMS Reporting help

Hi

 

I have been asked to create a report that links automatically in SIMs, as below request: Am I correct in thinking that this can only be done via daily reports being run in SIMS (not live data after extract) and dropping data into a template?

 

'The Lates detention tracker will need to be linked to SIMS so that it automatically calculates the sanction required. I am sure this is possible.' Please could you also include in the spreadsheet a way to identify pupils who are not sitting lates detentions, if they arrive late, due to reasons agreed with member of staff.'

 

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yep, using daily reports and a template is the way to go. For the detention tracker, use formulas to calculate sanctions. To find pupils not in lates, maybe use colors or filters based on arrival times. Hope that helps!
