6Foot2 Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Link: Deprecated features in the Windows client - What's new in Windows | Microsoft Learn WordPad is no longer being updated and will be removed in a future release of Windows. Dos_Box Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 TBH, I have hardly ever used WordPad. Notepad, on the other hand, is an app used almost daily. 3
Brax Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 With Google Docs and OpenOffice software I can see why they're going to remove it. Would love some quality of life updates to notepad though!
