About the Role

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a Technical Services Officer to join our IT Services Department and play a key role in developing and implementing MS operating systems and supporting University stakeholders with a wide variety of applications.As part of the Technical Services Team, you will have responsibility for the technical management, support, implementation, operational delivery, and proactive development of PC operating systems (MS Windows) alongside application implementation, delivery, and support.Committed to customer care, you will combine technical expertise with excellent customer service and positively liaise and collaborate with IT services colleagues, system owners, external suppliers, and solutions providers.

 

About You

 

As Technical Services Officer, you will:

• Have significant work experience in supporting and developing MS Windows / MS Office systems.
  
• Have detailed knowledge and experience of supporting, developing and delivering technical solutions across a range of platforms.
  
• Be confident in supporting enterprise network services and a wide range of PC and mobile hardware devises.
  
• Have excellent communication and customer care skills.
  
• Work positively and proactively within a team, and on your own initiative.
