Is anyone else turning off Microsoft Feed

In Microsoft 365, as a tenant admin, if you want to disable the new experience, you can contact Microsoft via a service request to turn off Microsoft Feed. This is a temporary solution which removes the Feed icon from the left navigation of Microsoft 365.Sign in to Microsoft 365 with your Microsoft 365 admin account.Select Support > New service request.If you're in the admin center, select Support > New service request.To re-enable the feature, you can create a New service request.

 

I've asked them to do so but they don't seem to understand the difference between the Microsoft Edge New Tab page which admins can turn off and the web Office 365 which admins can't turn off.

 

Is a bit startling as it will do thing such as put Staff out of office replies into students feeds by default and other odd stuff

Can I ask why this is startling? Pupils will see the OoO in Outlook or by sending an email so nothing sensitive or private should be put there.

Its fairly random , while they would get this info from sending an email it is instead put into a feed

 

Also there is the Follow and Following other students and members of staff along with a counter for each, think this is disabled now by changing the Org settings
