Due to continued expansion, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our small vibrant Chelmsford based IT company supporting Primary schools in the Essex area, with a particular focus on Chelmsford, Witham and Colchester. Work will mainly be on Site but with some remote support included.

 

Candidate will need to be living in Essex to carry out this role.

The ideal candidate will have a proven understanding of Windows 10\11 desktop and some server and group policy knowledge, with at least two years previous experience, willingness to learn new skills and work independently. Excellent communication skills are essential. Previous knowledge of schools ICT would be an advantage.

 

Knowledge of MDMs, Google, Azure, Microsoft 365 would also be advantageous, as would having worked in Schools.

 

Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

 

The role involves a scheduled visit to our customers, whether this be weekly, fortnightly, monthly or Ad-Hoc. The ideal candidate will have:

 

• Excellent people skills.

• Excellent time management.

• Happy to work individually as well as part of a team.

• Full / clean driving licence.

• Good Windows 10\11 desktop support & deployment skills

• Network troubleshooting skills

• Group Policy knowledge

• Apple\Google deployment knowledge would be an advantage

• Full DBS Check required.

 

Salary negotiable, depending on experience but in the range of £28,000 - £32,000 Pro Rata. This will start with three days a week, working up to full time but a full time position could be offered to an ideal candidate. Although this is advertised as PAYE, this may also suit a self employed individual but the company work would have to take priority, this can be discussed at interview.

 

We take safeguarding very seriously, as a result a full DBS check would be undertaken.
