ICT Technician

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a new ICT Technician to join our School

 

Contract: Permanent

 

Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Mon-Fri

 

Hours of work: 8.15am – 4.15pm (Mon to Thurs), 8.15am - 3.45pm (Fri), with a 30 min unpaid lunch break each day

 

Salary: Grade E, Scale Points 11 - 17 £24,054 - £26,845 (2023 / 2024 Support Staff Pay Award Pending)

 

Annual Leave: 24.5 days, rising to 25 days from September 2023. Additional 3 days following 5 years' service.

 

 

 

We are seeking to appoint an ICT Technician to provide ICT / Network support to ensure the smooth day to day operation of our school’s ICT network and support systems. The successful candidate will provide first and second line support to staff, both administrative and academic on a wide range of IT matters, specifically for the development, maintenance, and support of all schools within the Trust's ICT network and systems.

 

You will have proven experience in a similar of ICT support role, ideally within an education setting, coupled with an in-depth knowledge of hardware and software. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with a diverse range of people and have a commitment to the delivery of excellent customer service.
