mail merge software

Hi All

 

Currently we are using Gmail in our school for emails. Unfortunately this doesn't have mail merge functionality.

Until now we had a webserver where I used a web application for mail merging purpose, due to cost reduction and updates to our school network, I don't have access to this webserver anymore. Could you please advise what's the best software to use for mail merge. I would appreciate if you let me know of any package you are currently using for mailmerge in your school.

They recently released mail merge functionality in gmail:

Looks simple enough to use this functionality, hopefully this will work. Unfortunately I can't test this out as the mail merge option is unavailable, it looks like google workspace admin has to enable this, i have emailed the IT department and waiting for their response. Many thanks pointing me out in the right direction.
