Teams Room/Resource accounts and calendar

Morning all - I think the answer for this will be a straightforward 'no' but firing away

 

As part of a new site being built with Teams Rooms compatible AV hardware being installed, we're trying to see if there's a way of importing calendar information from CELCAT (our timetabling solution for students)

 

The idea is that these classrooms will have Teams Rooms hardware that will show calendar information with a resource account . We can obtain the calendar information from CELCAT by getting a web url for each room. However, when subscribing to the calendar with a Teams Rooms account (I've signed into the mailbox using OWA) it obviously creates a new calendar, and any hardware/user will only see their default calendar, which is not what we want

 

Is there any real solution or workaround to this? I don't think changing the default calendar is possible, and anything like just copying the events won't work because calendar changes need to be seen in real time

Seems like you can make an ical feed that other systems can subscribe to
