Twitter posting through Office 365 Power Automate issue

Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone else uses Power Automate to post to Twitter using the Twitter API so things can go through an approval process?

 

For several years now there has been a Flow created in office 365 which takes content added as a list item (post text, images, hash tags etc.) and sends them through an approval process. Once they are approved they are automatically posted to Twitter through the "Post a Tweet" flow command, linked to the Twitter API which is setup through the developer portal. In recent months it seems that some changes were made at Twitters end which have broken this and stopped the posts from reaching twitter. I have been in touch with Microsoft Support who have helped me as much as they can so far, but Twitters support through their Developer Portal is currently unavailable due to "changes being made" which means I cannot get any actual help from them at all.

 

Does anyone have any experience with this or can help in any way as I am stuck with an error which tells me next to nothing and I have no idea where to go from here, and there is starting to be a lot of pressure building from management regarding this issue?

Could this be part of the changes that is closing of API access unless the developer stumps up cash? I'm not sure Microsoft's stance on that but I don't imagine they will want to pay Twitter. It might not have come in yet but I know various developers have been discussing the implications to their systems.

This does seem to be some of the issue. Microsoft Support told me to create a free Twitter App through there developer and change the way it accesses Office 365 to get around the problem. It has gone from not connecting to now being "refused". I would like to avoid paying the $100 a month to do this but may not have a choice.

Charging for API access seems to be becoming a thing. Reddit is about to do similar, which will kill off 3rd party apps.
