JohnMark Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 Anyone can help with this. Using Windows Server 2019. Startup folder works fine with apps in it. Task Manager simply has no Startup TAB at all. HELP!
timbo343 Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 (edited) Maybe try this as a work around.. AutoRuns - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/autoruns Or these articles might help https://www.makeuseof.com/windows-no-startup-items-task-manager/ https://www.thewindowsclub.com/startup-tab-missing-from-task-manager-in-windows Edited May 18, 2023 by timbo343
JohnMark Posted May 18, 2023 Author Posted May 18, 2023 I use Task Manager for many things and would rather have it work. Are you knowledgeable about server 2019 to help with this?
timbo343 Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 I use Task Manager for many things and would rather have it work. Are you knowledgeable about server 2019 to help with this?I've got about 22x Server 2019 servers but never seen or had this issue. I'm only trying to help and offer suggestions. Id start with a SFC /SCANNOW if it were me but that doesn't mean you have to take my advice.
timbo343 Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 One last thing to check.. https://www.tenforums.com/general-support/132611-task-manager-startup-items-missing.html Applies to Windows 10 but might also apply to 2019.
