MrMBX Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Hi all, We have recently setup an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription - it has been deployed, but now we are wondering if it is possible to direct different devices e.g. students and staff into different groups? (shown in attached image) Currently, all devices that we have deployed to have landed in the 'default' group. Any guidance on this would be greatly welcomed and appreciated. Thanks!
Steve21 Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Click the group Go to permissions And then associated machines And it needs to be done via one of those options Either OUs, LAN ip or installed packages Steve
localzuk Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 When you go into one of the profiles, you can edit the permissions on this page - So, you can assign devices by AD group, IP address range or by using specific packages on specific machines.
MrMBX Posted May 17, 2023 Author Posted May 17, 2023 Hi, Many thanks for the responses. We have specified an OU like 'OU=x' which Adobe have specified on their guide. However, despite doing this, it still directs them to the default group. Wondering if it needs the entire path to the OU or something else? Thanks!
Steve21 Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 We don’t use the function, as never really seen the point of the groups if I’m honest (for devices) but exporting our machines as a CSV shows the full OU path Steve
