Hi folks,

I've been using Win 11 on a Dell Latitude 5520 for over a year now.

Suddenly today it's very slow. Task manager shows nothing at peak load (CPU, memory, disk). I know there has been mention of recent updates causing issues with SSDs, although the last applied update was a few years ago. Windows updates doesn't seem to every finish downloading an update. Dell driver update doesn't open.

What is the best repair path in this situation? I have built a Win 11 media install memory stick, so presumably can use that for repair, or a reinstall.

Thanks

Why not try do Delprof onto that device , but before you do delprof make sure you backup all your work onto your share area or USB stick.

Hope that helps
