Login Issues

We have been having sporadic issues over the last couple of weeks, where users logon to domain-only connected machines and receive the following error message:

"The sign-in method you’re trying to use isn’t allowed. For more info, contact your network administrator”

 

I have checked our security related group policies and everything appears to be set correctly. Also, as of yet, we have only had this issue on Windows 11 workstations, we have had no issues with Windows 10.

 

Has anyone else ran into a similar issue?

I don't have an answer, but the only time I've seen that message is when we have restricted login on a specific group of machines to a specific group of users - for example admin staff to office machines disallowing teachers and students. Might give you a clue to start looking? Does it clear on a restart?
