With the steady growth of our Trust and schools we are looking to appoint an IT Manager (Deputy Head of IT) within our Trust-wide IT Team. As Trust IT Manager you will play a key role in supporting the development and delivery of the high performing systems and infrastructure that supports our success. This will see you work closely with your school based IT colleagues and, from time to time, deputise for the Head of IT.This role is within the Central Team at Endeavour MAT and is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate gain experience and insight at a strategic level within the Trust, including server-side maintenance and development. You will therefore need strong organisational and project skills and be able to coordinate effectively across the schools in the Trust as well as work with other senior leaders both in the Central Team and in schools.You will be an experienced IT professional, respected for your expertise and knowledge and ability to apply this to the practicalities and realities of the work environment in our Trust. Specific experience of working a similar environment would be advantageous but is not essential for a candidate with the right transferable skills and experience.This role is an exciting opportunity for someone wishing to progress their career in IT management in a rewarding education environment.This is a demanding but exciting role that offers the opportunity to develop both specialist skills and knowledge as well as project and people management at the heart of an ambitious and high-achieving organisation.

Is this an IT Manager role or a Deputy Head of IT role as the two are far from the same job and far from the same pay grade, usually.
