Hotmail storage quota

Hi all

 

Does anyone know whether MS have recently altered storage quotas for Hotmail (or live or outlook.com) customers? I've noticed a definite jump in the number of parents' addresses (hotmail) that have started to bounce back with the following whenever we send out comms.

It's typical Microsoft level of [non]clarity but it looks like that may apply to free personal accounts as well.

That's going to happen a lot with Windows users given Onedrive likes to sync peoples my docs. My onedrive is nearly full now to think of it.

We're still seeing more Hotmail mailboxes of parents bouncing back as over quota. I get that it's the recipeint's responsibilty if their mailbox isn't accepting new messages, but I would suggest that schools take a look at how many NDRs they're receiving off the back of school comms and attempt to notify parents about the issue if there's a significant number.
